Meditation Gateshead

In Latin, the word ‘Meditation’ means ‘to think’. References to meditation can be found throughout history and although it has strong connections to Buddhism it is not a religious practice.

To meditate is to close the mind from external influences and be still.

It is so difficult to quiet the mind in modern society. Even when you go somewhere peaceful and close your eyes your mind is still thinking of your ever growing ‘to do’ list. This is where guided meditation can help.

During a guided meditation, you are encouraged to relax in a comfortable position and wrapped in a warm blanket.

You will hear my voice as I guide you through the meditation. Each meditation is customised to suit your individual needs.

Candles, Incense or Oils can be burnt to assist in relaxation and I also use a combination of Ting-Sha Bells, Singing Bowls, Tuning Forks and Drum to help you achieve a deep meditative state.

The benefits of Meditation include…

  • Stress Relief
  • Increased Concentration
  • Aids Insomnia
  • Deep Relaxation
  • Expand Spiritual Awareness
  • Lowers Blood Pressure
  • Balances Emotions
